As we grow together at Restoration, there is a place for everyone. More than anything, we want you to feel welcome and build a relationship with you. If you are looking for a specific way to connect with us, consider joining one of the teams listed below.
Hospitality Team:
-Welcome people each week and direct them to childcare, the main worship area and coffee station
-Hand out bulletins and collect offerings as well as ushering
-Help with special event preparation as needed
Worship Team:
-Serve as scripture readers or chalice bearers
-Arrive early to set up the Communion table
-Clean and store Communion serving pieces and other items used during worship
Children’s Team:
-Set up toys and play space and take them down after worship
-Interested in curriculum for the kids as well as brainstorming ways to engage them each week
-Assist with teaching, crafts and songs
-Recruit volunteers to help on Sundays
-Serve as back-up volunteers if the need arises
Outreach Team:
-Scout outreach opportunities in the community
-Help coordinate outreach events and communicate them with congregation
-Recruit volunteers for outreach missions
Prayer Team:
-Commit time to prayer each week for the needs of the church
-Meet before the service to pray over the worship space and congregation
-Be available as needs arise to pray for special requests
-Provide prayer ministry during worship times
Communication & Promotional Team:
-Writing ministry updates for the blog
-Organize people to be a presence at community events
-Video experience or video editing
-Give testimonials for promotional material
-Photograph at events, outreach, etc.
-Provide assistance with design and marketing
Set Up or Break Down Teams:
-Arrive 40 minutes early to help prepare the space for worship: chairs, straighten up, tables moved, materials displayed, signage put out, etc.
-Remove items brought in for worship
-Help set up children’s dividers, rugs and heavy items
