What do people wear…
As a church of Jesus Christ the last thing we are interested in is a dress code. We want to invite people to come and worship the Lord with open and vulnerable hearts. All we ask is to never let your outward appearance obscure who you are within “for the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.” (1 Sam. 16:7)
What is available for kids?
Nursery care for newborns to 36 months and children’s church for kids ages 3 to 5. Before the sermon the kids will leave the main worship space and attend a small service that includes crafts, Bible story and snacks before returning to sit with parents for Communion. We believe that it is important for our kids to experience corporate worship with us and are excited to have your family join us for services.
What kind of music…
At Restoration, we choose hymns, choruses and liturgical songs not for their style but for their ability to communicate spiritual truth and allow us to profess worship to God. Weekly you can expect to find contemporary songs as well as hymns. Music and lyrics themselves are not worship. Worship continues in our everyday lives throughout the week and overflows in song when we celebrate our Lord on Sunday.
Why do we meet at a Hotel…
The Christian Church is not a building it is a community people. Historically the Church has filled all sorts of public and private spaces; caves, homes, commercial space, nothing is safe from the Holy Spirit. We are interested in external mission: bringing the gospel to people, not bringing people to us.
